Reimbursement Assistance
Gilead's Advancing Access program helps individuals find insurance coverage for Hepsera® (adefovir dipivoxil). From the first telephone conversation, our reimbursement counselors start answering questions and seeking coverage solutions. If individuals neither have nor qualify for public or private insurance benefits - and they meet Advancing Access eligibility criteria - we can provide Hepsera free of charge.

Advancing Access counselors help sort through the details of prescription drug reimbursement and connect people with the benefits to which they are entitled. Our highly-skilled staff provides personal support as appropriate for individuals in the following three categories:
  • Individuals with health insurance
  • Under-insured individuals
  • Individuals without health insurance
For more information about Advancing Access, providers, advocates and patients may call: 1-800-226-2056

Reimbursement counselors are available to help you Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. (Eastern). If you would prefer to work in your native language, please notify our counselors. We will do our best to support specific needs. Callers also may record a confidential message any time, any day of the week.
